I'm probably going to review this for the website. Based on a popular 2001 martial arts novel, the plot is far more compelling than your average iQIYI movie, but I can imagine some purists being put off by its digitally sped-up action sequences.

This topic makes me wish we got a Super Martial Masters or Martial Masters 2 or whatever, a sequel to the game is basically trying to answer the question "What if Once Upon a Time in China" was a fighting game.
There's plenty of other great fighting ideas to ape from those movies
been thinking of what movies out there recreate the feeling of a fighting game onscreen and I settled on a niche pick: Fist of The Condor
Not without its flaws, but the several 1v1 bouts against colourful villains are excellent, and Zaror is a physical demon

I'm not a reviewer but I put some thoughts on the Street Fighter movie (spoilers).
It's just whatever, but for what is worth, it probably has the best fight scene involving a sumo wrestler ever put in a movie.

Which fair enough, it has happened with others in the past too, but it's a pretty sad. The amount of creativity in this in shots, editing and special effects to sell the idea they are standing on the spear midfight is awesome
I was in the mood for one of those mid 90's wuxia, so I watched Wing Chun (1994). A pretty fun pretty feminist movie about a chick beating the shit out of some very frat-coded bandits. As everything around this time it's creative as hell action-wise. Michelle Yeoh vs Norman Chui
