I have come around to the idea that bowl games should convert to early-season matchups like the Chick-fil-A sponsored kickoff games. They would be interesting non-conference matchups. The hardest part is scheduling them in advance, but now with "Week 0" becoming week 1, play these in August and September.
NEW: Bowl games have hit the iceberg — and eight directors meet today to figure out how to survive when the CFP expands to 24 teams in 2027 👀 "We don't want to be the band members playing on the deck as the ship sinks." Details: on3.com/news/bowl-games-hit-…

The Sun Bowl should convert to an early season game like the Chick-fil-A kickoff matchups.
We riot if they try to take the Sun Bowl from us 🥊

PAIN.
19 years ago today, Rutgers beat #2 USF 30 to 27. This was Rutgers' last win over an AP Top 10 team.

Welp. Every streak has to come to an end, right?
Including playoffs…The Bills are 0-7 in OT games since 2019. Last OT win was against the Colts in the blizzard in 2017.

This is been a strange game. #BillsMafia

Love this comment. He's not wrong, there might be 20,000 fans there on a Thursday night. (They couldn't draw that many for a Saturday game two weeks ago.) USF's offense has a whole world of problems, but dealing with crowd noise will not be one of them.

So @USFFootball fans are rightfully upset with the entire offense. Playcalling was awful, WRs cold not get open. The OL could not block anything. Tim Beck is not getting fired 5 weeks into the season. But something has to change.

Hey @RHiggins_USF ... the purchase of "General Admission" 2027 season tickets in the OCS was prefectly simple. However, there are some questions arising. I bought 2 seats in the lower bowl and 2 more SRO tickets for the rooftop bar... and I'm not the only one. Will we be able to go back and forth between our seats and the bar?

Ironic that as Reece and Kirk were talking about communication issues... there would be communication issues in the broadcast.

Setting aside the politics here... the security for a presidential visit will make @CollegeGameDay a bit more interesting for those in attendance.

Idea for @RHiggins_USF and @usfvolleyball for 2027/2028 at OCS.
History is about to be made at Wrigley Field Sunday night as No. 3 Kentucky takes on No. 13 Penn State while No. 1 Nebraska takes on Missouri as the first collegiate volleyball matches ever played at Wrigley in its 112 year history!
