GOP candidates are being undercut by stories of grift out of the White House. "Drain the Swamp” falls flat when seemingly every week a new story comes out about the President’s family enriching itself. It’s a huge challenge for GOP as they try to keep the House and Senate

And the Ukrainians are fighting Putin whose hatred of America (for defeating the Soviet Union) is intense and abiding. Putin also is in an axis with the Communist Party of China, the dynastic dictatorship in North Korea, and the Islamist regime in Tehran. The Ukrainians are doing more damage to America's enemies than any other ally (with the possible exception of Israel). @WarrenRush37084
They, in fact, came to our aid after we were attacked on 9/11. So yes.

lol every loyal Cheesecake Factory customer (I’m one of them) thinks the decor is ludicrously over the top. It’s part of the charm of the place. No one walks in and says, “Hey Marge can we do this in our house?” This is all so fake.
Obama mocking Cheesecake Factory tells you everything about how out of touch political elites are. Growing up, eating there was a special occasion for my family, just as it is for millions of Americans today. Obama is telling on himself here.

Greg is the most disingenuous person on TV, and that includes Real Housewives from every city.
Gutfeld: Don't go after The Cheesecake Factory. A lot of us don't have a personal chef. The Cheesecake Factory is a tribute to America. It's literally a melting pot, Jessica, that's why you hate it. All the flavors assimilating into a menu. 250 meals, 700 ingredients. 100 sauces.

I've made this point about Obama fans a number of times. Many truly are oblivious to the condescension, and they assign very ugly motivations to those who aren't. Trump's rhetoric is far more divisive, of course, but that doesn't erase how others conduct themselves.
Replying to @jimantle
I definitely think Obama is much more divisive than his admirers think. They are essentially blind and deaf to his condescension and it’s bizarre to me. Even more bizarre, however: MAGA and Trump apologists being outraged by Obama/Clinton’s “divisive” rhetoric without being even slightly troubled by Trump’s far worse and far more sustained rhetoric of demonization and delegitimization never mind “division.” It makes a vast amount of their panty-bunching whining seem almost pretextual (though I don’t think it is. I think a lot of it is the same kind of blindness and deafness.).

"The Iranians didn't get what they wanted, I think, out of seizing Hormuz... But America hasn't also got what it wanted by its counter-blockade of Iran." On the @ReaganCaucusAct Podcast, @jonathan_spyer discussed the complexities of the Iran War, and why it may go on a while.

And I wonder how many from that same crowd wanted to shut down Cracker Barrel over a logo change.
Largely missed Cheesecake Factory-gate but find it genuinely funny that people seem more offended by a swipe at a restaurant than the comparison to Saddam Hussein 😂😭😭

I think it’s mostly lame that MAGA and Fox types are trying to make the Saddam-Cheesecake Factory line into an outrage. But I think it’s hilarious that nearly all of them are offended on behalf of the Cheesecake Factory and not Trump. I haven’t heard anyone defend Trump’s interior design. The logic of their freakout is, “How dare you say the Cheesecake Factory looks like the Trump White House!? The Cheesecake Factory is awesome!”

The endless slaughter of Ukrainian and Russians must stop. We should some sympathy for the poor Russian conscripts too. Those kids have no choice but to fight and die in drone strikes.

George W. and Laura Bush are backing James Talarico against Trump's terrible candidate Ken Paxton
Community note
The article shown names Barbara Bush, daughter of George W. and Laura Bush, who gave $2,500 to a PAC backing Talarico, and George W.'s brother Neil Bush, who said he voted for Talarico. It does not report that George W. or Laura Bush back him. hoodline.com/2026/10/second…
