Chelmsford came back yesterday after eight months dark. Arc took the lease, moved the pictures from Racing TV to Sky Sports Racing, and the first card wasn't shown or bet on in Ladbrokes and Coral shops, because of a media rights dispute. Rescue, or a land grab for fixtures and pictures? Two administrations since 2008, and the punter in the shop still can't watch the race. When one racecourse group can switch pictures and leave shop punters in the dark, who is British racing being run for? @BHAHorseracing @RacingPost #horseracing

The BHA stance of siding with slots means we are now in managed decline. I'm led to believe there is funding from the levy that will keep it going for a good while. But see the top line, British Racing is in 'Managed Decline'. This could have been prevented.
