Our group's latest work appears in @J_A_C_S. We use a 5d metal🔽 to regiospecifically ring expand 6⃣-membered ring to 7⃣- membered product. This reaction mimics an enzymatic oxygenase, using only O2/light 🍃as the only inputs.

Excited to share our latest paper in @softmatter! 🎉
We show how the pressure equation of state of an active suspension can be extracted from its sedimentation profile.
Great work by Yunhee, Elijah, and Parvin!

Excited to share our latest work out in @J_A_C_S ! Building off previous observations that oxidative additions to electrophilic metals might be a little different... including evidence for the first Pd(IV)-dihydride.

Happy to share that our work has been published in JACS! We developed hydroxybenzoate-co-lactide polymers derived from biosourced starting materials. These materials exhibit both antimicrobial activity and degradability, offering promising potential for sustainable applications.
Last month we welcomed alum and nanoscience pioneer Chad Mirkin back to campus to present the Harold Kohn Endowed Distinguished Chemistry Alumni lecture.
