It's been indicated that LIV wouldn't announce player returns one by one before the Oct. 25 deadline, so I wouldn't assume that the handful of guys below are the only ones committed.
🚨👀⛳️ JUST IN — ESPN is reporting that 2-time major Champion, Bryson DeChambeau ‘remains committed and is working diligently behind the scenes to bring LIV 2.0 to fruition.’ @BrysonLegion
As of today, the league is believed to have formally secured 4 player commitments: Richard Bland, Cameron Tringale, Ben Campbell & Brendan Steele. A commitment deadline has been set for this Sunday.
Will you be watching LIV in 2027?

Trade!
Rory McIlroy and @commongolf have acquired Shane Lowry from The Bay Golf Club.
The Bay gets Boston's fourth spot in the upcoming roster formation process (essentially draft order), one pick over the coming three seasons, and "commercial considerations."
TGL rosters are expanding to five players in 2027.
First ever trade in TGL.

A cool/fun nugget I learned this week in Texas: Frisco Independent School District has added 5 minutes to the end of each school day in 2026-27.
That will help end the school year a full week early in 2027, ahead of the PGA Championship at Fields Ranch East

Rory McIlroy speaks on LIV from the Bloomberg New Economy forum: “LIV had probably like, half of a good idea that was executed pretty poorly. They had a lot of capital, but I think a lot of that capital was wasted in some ways.”
