A Canadian icon, and an incredible loss for our country.

En cette Fête nationale française, je pense au lien exceptionnel qui unit le Canada et la France, forgé au fil des années par le partenariat, la solidarité et l’amitié. L’an dernier, j’ai eu l’honneur d’être nommé Grand Officier de la Légion d’honneur. Je tiens à exprimer ma plus profonde gratitude à un cher ami et à un allié indéfectible du peuple canadien, le président @EmmanuelMacron. Je suis immensément fier de tout ce que nous avons accompli, ensemble, au bénéfice des citoyens de nos deux pays. Bonne fête nationale! 🇨🇦🇫🇷

This Bastille Day, I’m reminded of the incredible bond between Canada and France, forged over years of partnership, unity, and friendship. Last year, I was honoured to be appointed Grand Officier of the Legion of Honour. I’d like to share my most heartfelt thanks to a dear friend, and a steadfast ally of the Canadian people, President @EmmanuelMacron. I am incredibly proud of everything we accomplished, together, for the people of both our nations.  Bonne fête nationale! 🇨🇦🇫🇷
