20 years ago Steve Gleason blocked a punt against the Falcons and changed the course of Saints history. Current Saints players were too young to be there, but they carry on the rivalry, and understand what that meant, two decades after that special night:

Opening statement:
"I just felt like coming out of the bye week and we needed to make a few adjustments. Workflow was going to...and felt like this was going to be beneficial to the workflow of our staff.
On firing Paganetti and not someone else:
"TJ's a really good coach. Again, I think he's a really, really good coach. He's a really good person to have on your staff. It just felt like from a workflow standpoint, this would be the most beneficial structure for us moving forward"
On retaining Nugent vs Paganetti:
"This is what I think is the best workflow for us for moving forward. And again, these decisions are never easy. Again, we'll shuffle some other stuff within the staff just to help our workflow and I think it'll put us in a good position"
Kellen Moore said last week that he didn't want to make any emotional decisions and he repeated that today. He said that it was important to take the emotions out of the loss to the Steelers, implied he made this decision later in the week.
Kellen Moore confirms the Saints fired TJ Paganetti, says he "is a really good coach." Said the move will improve the staff workflow. OL coach Brendan Nugent will lead the run game.
Coming off the bye, the #Saints made a significant change, moving on from run game coordinator T. J. Paganetti, sources say. Run-game issues have plagued the team this year.
Buccaneers beat Atlanta 16-0 without completing a pass.
They are the first NFL team since the 1974 Buffalo Bills to win a game without completing a pass.
Saints first-pick Jordyn Tyson could return from the hamstring injury that has sidelined him as early as next week vs. the Browns, per sources. But even if it’s not then, he is not far away from playing.
Sovereignty wins the Breeders Cup Classic. Bill Mott gets the win and third place with him and Knightsbridge. I'm surprised Napoleon Solo just conceded the lead to Knightsbridge.
Lots of people/horses to root for in the BC Classic coming up. It's not a great betting race but I love having two Derby winners running against each other.
Magnitude scratched from BC Classic. “A PET scan revealed some disruption in the the suspensory fibers of his left fore,” Steve Asmussen said. More later on DRF
