GENIUS: Former #Ravens offensive lineman John Urschel earned a 4.0 GPA and worked toward a Ph.D. at MIT while playing in the #NFL.
Urschel graduated from Penn State with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mathematics before being drafted by Baltimore.
During his career, he spent every offseason at MIT conducting advanced mathematics research and pursuing his doctorate.
John retired from the NFL at just 26 years old to complete his Ph.D. full-time.
