Some magical progress towards "magic state" in quantum! Our @GoogleQuantumAI team has demonstrated "magic state cultivation" on physical hardware for the first time. The result is a 40x error reduction on our Willow processor vs. previous methods, achieving a state-of-the-art 99.99% logical fidelity. It's another step towards useful, error-corrected quantum computers to help solve the hardest problems. The result is published in Science today, watch the video below to see how it works

I am proud to share that SynthID has been recognised by @TIME as one of the Best Inventions of 2026. When we first began developing this technology @GoogleDeepMind, the goal was to find a robust, imperceptible way to watermark AI-generated media directly at the moment of creation, without compromising content quality. It was no small research challenge. But three years into its use, SynthID has already watermarked over 180 billion images and videos, alongside 240,000 years of audio. We’ve also recently extended these watermarking principles to biology with SynthID Bio. SynthID isn't a silver bullet for misinformation and this isn't a challenge any one company can solve alone; but it does represent a step toward a more transparent information ecosystem. A sincere thank you to the teams across @Google for their contributions to making SynthID a reality, and also for the support the team has received from @demishassabis, @sundarpichai and the rest of the Google leadership on this journey. You can try the SynthID Universal Detector at synthid.com. Read more: time.com/collection/best-inv…

Some great use cases from Googlers building with Gemini 4 Argon 🧵 It has a much stronger grasp of coding and multi-step tool use - starting from a raw Pixel CAD file in Google Antigravity, Argon created this exploded-view animation, lighting, camera choreography, and audio through Blender MCP. It ran 1,000 rounds of iterative loops to check its own renders and refine the code along the way.

Great customer stories! Nearly 90% of the Fortune 100 use Gemini Enterprise.
At Gemini at Work, we showed how the world’s leading organizations are moving past experimentation to deliver real business value with Google Cloud technology. Today, nearly 90% of the Fortune 100 use Gemini Enterprise. Here are three customers we highlighted: - @Merck is securely exploring new frontiers in molecular research with the potential to significantly compress discovery timelines, securely: piped.video/Ay5QtMsna8c - @honeywell is leveraging Gemini Enterprise to contextualize equipment operational data at scale, to provide proactive maintenance recommendations that help customers minimize costly outages and extend equipment lifespan: piped.video/9SK_FpcIbvE - @LloydsBank is scaling agentic tools securely across the bank and engineers are already building production-ready use cases from fraud detection to commercial client onboarding: piped.video/ZoZlcmQG8SE

Today @TheLancet published our AMIE study with @BIDMC_Medicine, the first prospective study of patient-facing conversational diagnostics in a real clinic. AMIE is a research system people can chat with before doctors appointments. Testing AMIE outside the lab with real urgent care patients showed how technology can help gather medical histories safely. Clinicians reported that the summaries helped them prepare for visits in 75% of cases and influenced their approach to care in more than half. AMIE’s differential diagnoses also matched the doctors’ final diagnoses 90% of the time giving clinicians more time to focus on patient care. It’s Google’s first-ever paper in The Lancet’s main journal!

Great to be with 700+ @googlecloud customers at the historic NASA Hangar One for Gemini at Work! Today, we introduced the new Gemini agent, a single, universal agent for work that has all of your business context and answers your questions, handles your knowledge work, creates your images and media, and writes and runs code - all from a single prompt box. It is connected to your personal workflows, your systems of record, and your enterprise controls. It’s built around a few core architectural principles: Unified Agent: Gemini can answer questions, do knowledge work and generate code from a single prompt box. Access: Gemini is web-based and can be accessed from any device and integrated into third-party applications. It can also operate without a dedicated user interface. Persistent Execution: It runs in the cloud, which means it maintains a single set of memories, context and one personalization graph no matter where you access it. Multi-Agent Orchestration: Gemini can create sub-agents to tackle multi-step tasks and can also act as a coworker agent with a defined role and its own dedicated identity Context: Gemini knows your tools, data, and work history and learns how you work the more you use it. Model Choice Flexibility: It orchestrates across multiple models to deliver optimal quality and lower your costs. Read more in our blog: cloud.google.com/blog/produc…

Project Suncatcher is our moonshot exploring whether we can one day host machine learning infrastructure in space 🚀 To do so, we need to know whether our AI hardware can operate in orbit. Can our TPUs handle the physical stress of spaceflight and the radiation and thermal extremes of space? These are the questions Google researchers have been exploring for the past few years. Last week, we launched our first test satellite carrying four TPUs into orbit — putting us one step closer to getting answers.

Aligned with the White House Ratepayer Protection Pledge, we're partnering with @ConstellationEG to bring 890 MW of new, reliable nuclear capacity to the @pjminterconnect grid, directly supporting the modernization of Constellation power plants in IL, PA, and NJ.
More nuclear energy is coming to PJM. Our agreement with @Google will add 890 MW of reliable, emissions-free capacity – equivalent to a new reactor – backed by $4.3B+ in private investment. Deal will also sustain and create thousands of jobs. More info ↙️ bit.ly/3VSmzfA

Project Suncatcher has liftoff! ☀️🚀 Announced last year, this moonshot project explores if we can one day host machine learning infrastructure in space. After years of research, we’ve just launched a prototype satellite, built in partnership with @planet, into orbit on @SpaceX's Transporter-18 rideshare mission. This initial mission will gather data on how @Google TPUs handle the physical stress and extremes of spaceflight. Ultimately, these findings will help us explore how to potentially link multiple satellite constellations for scaled machine learning. By operating in low Earth orbit, these systems can tap into near-constant sunlight to generate up to 8x more solar power than on Earth.

Excited to share Gemini 4 Argon! I know many people have been curious about what we’ve been building. We are sharing as soon as possible starting with trusted defenders in our Fairwind Program. We developed Argon with frontier capabilities in coding, knowledge work and cyber security defense. We look forward to making it more widely available as we go through testing.
Replying to @sundarpichai
Importantly Argon has frontier safeguards and we are rolling it out responsibly - it’s with the US gov’t and going to a set of trusted cyber defenders through our Fairwind Program today. We’re going to make it available as soon as we can and as safely as we can. So hold tight, lots more coming, and you’re going to see us iterating rapidly. blog.google/innovation-and-a…
