Checkout is the best place to ask for a donation. Your customer already decided to buy and has their card out. Adding $5 to an $80 order barely registers. Think of it as an order bump for a cause.

Why checkout works:

Product Price Before and After Text 2.0.0 puts "incl. VAT" after every product price from one screen. Or anything else, really. The skies your oyster or whatever Go to WooCommerce » Settings » Products » Price text. Need something different for one category or product? Their own text wins.

Lightspeed POS for WooCommerce lets X-Series stores pick which products go online. Add your exclusion tags in settings, tag an item in Lightspeed, and it stays off your site (or goes to draft if it's already there). Remove the tag and it's back on the next sync.

Progressive Discounts for WooCommerce rewards bigger baskets: the discount grows with the units in the cart or the cart subtotal, in percent or fixed steps, and the promo's description shows as a store-wide notice while it runs.

"The Navy is on backorder. Prefer not to wait? Add the Charcoal, same jacket, same price, ships today." That's a CheckoutWC order bump firing only because the cart holds a backordered item. One checkbox, sale saved.

A security deposit works best when shoppers can see exactly what it is. Rental Products lets you set one per product. It's added as its own cart fee, taxable or not, and labeled refundable or non-refundable.

Offering samples? Give them their own stock, tracked apart from the full product, so you always see what's left of each. Product Sample for WooCommerce does this with WooCommerce stock management on.

Can't remember the full email? API Manager for WooCommerce 3.8.0 lets you search the API customers list by part of a name or email. It matches login, email, display name, first name and last name. And it works consistently from all around the plugin, so you don't have to remember which search field does what.

Control what non-members see of a members-only post. 1. Edit the post. 2. Add a More tag where the teaser should end. 3. Update. Constellation cuts the teaser there. With no More tag, it trims to your excerpt length (55 words by default).

Order Delivery for WooCommerce 4.2.2: your custom tip heading now labels the tip in cart totals, orders and emails, so it reads the same everywhere. Call it "Driver tip" or "Thank you". Leave it blank and it shows "Tip".

What if rental customers entered their dates once and your shop, category and search pages showed which rentals are available? Rental Products for WooCommerce has an availability checker that does that.

Busy delivery windows are easier to manage when you split them up. Order Delivery for WooCommerce can cut a time window into 30- or 60-minute slots, each with its own order limit, so no one slot gets overloaded. Set the limit to 0 for no limit.

Constellation tip: restricted posts can show non-members a teaser instead of a blank page. It uses the post's excerpt, or if there isn't one, the text above a WordPress "more" tag.
