Every time I hear the hated word”quarantine” I am struck how phonetically close it is to - the much preferable- “ Carntyne”. Of course , it was from there that Billy Connolly’s “3 men” set out to join the parish. Well worth a google!!!

Sadly this morning we lost Balladonia- the dam of Group 1 winner and French stallion, Wootton Bassett- to laminitis. A lovely , kind mare and wonderful flagbearer for LCS, she left her mark on the breed.
