Ben Johnson isn’t running a “genius” offense. He’s running a simple one. His strategy is max protect, quick outlets, and making sure Caleb always has a release valve. • Max protect so the pocket actually lasts • 7-plus blockers, sometimes 8, then quick route decisions • Outlets built in: checkdowns, tight ends, swing routes • They’re not asking Caleb to hold it forever • Execution beats complexity every time So…. why doesn’t Brian Fleury do this for Sam Darnold? What was Brian Fleury thinking?!! 6:30 left down 10… and they looked lethargic. The drive had zero urgency. Mike Macdonald isn't going to make a coordinator change on a short week, but IMO Brian Fleury has 2 weeks to get some things right. And I mean, DRAMATIC signs of improvement. 🏈 Arizona at home 🏈 Raiders in LV 🚨 BYE If we don't see a 180 on offense I can see MM making the move during the off week. Remember the reports after his first season that he strongly considered firing Ryan Grubb during that year's bye week? I don't see Macdonald repeating the same mistake in judgement - not with a roster that CAN and SHOULD be winning now. Especially not when he has multiple in-house options ready to take over.

Would be an ideal fit in Seattle. If Minnesota is truly willing to deal him. Perhaps Jennings would love to play AGAINST SF? He's an outstanding run blocker and a physical possession receiver - exactly what Seattle should add.
