1/10 After years of work on Genius Yield, I am sad to see its operations winding down, and I am sorry that users have been left worried about accessing their assets. My immediate priority is to help you withdraw from staking vaults and claim your available rewards.

9/10 I have tested unstaking and reward claims myself (and documented a Lace workaround for multi-address Eternl v2 wallets), though edge cases may still come up. Please report issues at github.com/geniusyield/geniu… — I will do my best to help. Keep private keys out of reports!

10/10 I believe access to immutable on-chain contracts should never depend on one company keeping its servers running. That is why I built Genius Zero. For now, the priority is simply helping everyone access their assets. Please share the guide with anyone who needs it.

7/10 Genius Zero is published under the MIT license: github.com/geniusyield/geniu… Anyone can inspect the code, run it locally, or deploy their own fork to GitHub Pages or IPFS. The hosted Netlify mirror is there for convenience; it is not the only way to use the app.

8/10 Genius Zero also includes support for Smart Liquidity Vaults and new Covered Options functionality, with no protocol fees or Genius Yield backend requirement. Vaults using market-relative pricing do require a price-oracle service, and Cardano network fees still apply.

5/10 Reward claims still require a co-signing service, which I am currently running myself. Unstaking your principal does not depend on it. Only rewards already funded and topped up on-chain can be claimed; the app cannot resolve delays in funding outstanding distributions.

6/10 Existing DEX order-book fees still apply and go to a Genius Yield-controlled address. Changing those parameters on-chain requires three of the four original founders’ signatures, and we do not currently have the approvals needed to set those fees to zero.

3/10 You will need a compatible Cardano wallet and your own Blockfrost API key. The guide walks you through getting a free key in two minutes. Important: never enter your recovery phrase or private keys into any website, and never share them with anyone offering help.

4/10 Staking, unstaking, and creating, filling, or cancelling DEX orders all work without a Genius Yield backend: transactions are built directly in your browser. In its current setup, the app uses Blockfrost to query the chain, so that remains an external dependency.
