This lady has an infantile conception of reality. She really thought explaining that she is "with them" would prevent them from plundering her store. We are all soft and weak, and we have let desperate people from a part of the world where survival still requires grit and resolve enter our once high trust societies. It's the equivalent of letting wolves in with your flock of sheep.
