For nearly two years, I've been investigating a pattern of ominous legal letters sent to journalists by defamation counsel representing Bobby Kotick.
That investigation is finally live.

Incredible scoop by my @WSJ colleagues: Elon Musk ordered the slowdown of a military-grade version of Starlink relied on by Ukraine, a decision that sparked panic in Kyiv and confusion inside the Trump administration. wsj.com/world/ukraine-starli…

So far, Riot is 3/6 picking orgs that don't pay their players on time or at all. Well played.
At least @LudwigAhgren and @SRVAL aren't consistently breaking their contracts

Saw a post on here about how Matt Johnson hates Nathan Fielder so I looked it up and as far as I can tell the source is a 10 second snippet of an interview in which MJ glancingly refers to Nathan For You as a style of filming he's sometimes uncomfortable watching.

Probably the coolest event video they've ever done

When you’re growing the ecosystem and letting more orgs participate 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Ludwig, co-owner of Shopify Rebellion via his stream:
"I think that Shopify Rebellion should abandon VALORANT completely, and I think Riot Games has fucked us long enough, and I don't know if I wanna pursue it anymore, because I see no reward for doing so."

Wow, they finally did it. They followed my advice and did it. They did it because of me. I did it.

The reactions tonight to the new VCT system remind me of this interview I did earlier this year with a skeptical coach (not Zikz) who requested anonymity to explain themselves.
“I don't think people have really understood what the calendar looks like yet.”
This period of VCT27 is terrifying for most pro players
Very few trials and not many new orgs investing early
It feels like orgs that want to enter the space will just wait for the emerging Free Agent projects to qualify to events then pick them up rather than investing early

When I moved to France, I wasn’t a huge fan of Marine Le Pen, because I knew her brothers in college: LemmeHit and CanIBorrow.

Who’s getting the “Bari Weiss asks people not to leak in leaked recording” story? That’s gotta happen sometime in the next week right.
Here's some of the audio from that extraordinary meeting. Raice tells Holly Williams she got her October 7 anniversary story "wrong"—"because you probably don't know the story as well as I do.
