Day 1 @LeanderTigers accomplished, and we THRIVED!! We talked food, family, anime, video games, maps, culture, and my 'why.' It always gets me thrilled to meet my students and see them get excited about the topics we get to discuss. It is going to be a great year! #1LISD

We also want to recognize our Iron Tigers 💪🏼 who participated in all 5 sports.
A record number (14!) athletes committed an entire school year - mornings, evenings & sometimes both - to LMS Athletics.
Thank you Tigers and the families who support you! There is no off season!

Congrats to Griffin Sisk, honored as our outstanding 8th grader of LMS at the @LEEF_TX STAR banquet! One of our most important athletes in FB, BB, & track also earns straight As in all advanced courses. A great person and leader - we couldn’t be more proud of this guy!

For just the 2nd time in the history of LMS, we had a 3rd band compete at UIL. For the 1st time in school history, they scored all 1s in performance and site reading. We could not be more proud of Ms. Reyna and her amazing band!

The Student Transfer Window for 2024-25 is now open!
#1LISD will offer traditional transfer options for currently enrolled students, as well as a “request to remain” transfer option.
Both opportunities will be open until March 31.
