BYU has called the game of its life and just undid all of it with one god-awful decision.

Heartbroken to have lost a great man in Tim Scannell. He was a great family friend and one of the men I looked up to growing up. A thoughtful leader, one of the voices who lead me to coaching, and an even better teammate off the field than he was on it. Thank you for everything, Uncle Tim. Prayers for Brigid, Shane, Spencer, Kenna, and everyone who loved him.

The big shocker in Chicago area football is the firing of Tyler Plantz at Providence Catholic in New Lenox. He was 4 and 0 ranked number one in class 5A. I have been involved with Chicago area Football for 50 years and I could honestly say that Tyler did the best job in the area

When it comes to promoting his players. I would ask for 2 or 3 to interview for my magazine and he would always send 12 to 15. No doubt one of the top coaches in the Midwest. Right now I would not recommend Providence Catholic to any football recruit. Sad situation for the current players.

Disgusted is an understatement. I’ve never had a coach care more about his players and his alma mater than Coach Plantz did. Every player who has had the privilege of being coached by him has his back. We love you coach.

Absolutely ridiculous move by the people in charge at Providence Catholic. Tyler Plantz and the Plantz family have given so much to the school and its football program. For him to be treated like this, especially in the middle of an undefeated season, is a disgrace.
