«És fàcil reconèixer en la seva música la influència dels paisatges gal·lesos i l’estat d’ànim canviant del mar. Per a Grace Williams, els estats canviants de la naturalesa son indestriables.»

Just listening to final triumphant mvt of Cornishman & Royal Naval veteran, George Lloyd’s ‘Arctic Symphony’. Such effortless power, quiet confidence. Makes one proud of our wartime era & to be born of these isles. @LyritaRecords @PetrocTrelawny @BBCRadio3 @RSStGeorge @RoyalNavy

The Ivor Novello Award for Best Orchestral Composition in association with @doricoofficial goes to @gavhiggins 'Horn Concerto' 🏆
The judges described the piece as “a striking and memorable work that pushes the boundaries of traditional concertos, its originality and sophisticated orchestration create a compelling and beautifully crafted piece.”
