Yesterday I attended the ribbon cutting for the MAG’s Centennial Sculpture Garden. The amazing centerpiece is a wall created by artist Rashid Johnson, featuring non-raced, nongendered faces to represent everyone and anyone.

Happy tenth anniversary to the Centennial Sculpture Park @MAG_Rochester! 🎉
The museum hosted a celebration and ribbon-cutting ceremony on Sunday marking the expansion of the park and the establishment of a $1.2M endowment that will provide care for the park in perpetuity. #ROC

In 1914, MAG hosted its 1st Rochester Art Club Exhibition; the annual show continued for 3 decades & grew in size. It changed to ROC-FLX Exhibition in 1938 & expanded to RAC artists in 19 counties of WNY. It occurs every 2 years & now serves a 27-counties. bit.ly/3MZ0ZiI
