I mean seasonal gear has replaced tome gear for casuals, plus seasonal is universal for all jobs so you just get it and equip, and the sub stats change based on the job.
Past the dragon maw cave, its a little island you cant fly to, but need to go through it. Enemies can give either 28k gil, 180k exp or 730ish vision exp depending on which one you get.

lol I found a spot with 180k exp mobs so, and as I am only doing story on stream, ive been doing it while watching YT etc

But you need to get through the cave, which is the hard part imo as the bosses and random encounters almost killed me getting past lol
Dragon Maw if you can get past it, the enemies just outside give either 180k exp, 28k gil or 730 vision exp on easy if you stagger.
The rewards dont change on any difficulty for the enemies so can swap to easy for farm,, then swap back after.
