Thank you @MLBRandomStats for speaking to Rice Sport Analytics Team (RSAT) students this evening as part of our 2026-27 guest speaker series. It was great to hear about baseball projects, the trajectory of sport analytics, and building a career in this industry! @RiceSmgt
The average Brewers starter today is ~6.4 years younger than the average Dodgers starter.
It’s the fourth largest age-gap between starting lineups in Postseason history.
Most recent bigger age gap was Game 1 of the 2012 ALCS
The NLCS Game 1 starting lineups combine for 10 players who are 28 and younger.
Nine of the 10 are on the Milwaukee side.
Andy Pages, 25, is the only Dodgers starter younger than 29.
