MORU CHART: Climate & Health Action for Research Translation brought together researchers, policymakers, funders and specialists to strengthen how climate and health research moves from evidence to action.
Across 3 days, participants moved from exploring priorities through a keynote, roundtable & lightning pitches, to developing projects through policy, climate-data & translation workshops, before refining ideas through funding sessions, project showcases & expert consultations.
Key message: research translation needs to begin early. Researchers must consider who will use the evidence, what decisions it should inform, and barriers to uptake. Solutions should be developed with users, not only for users.
