David Jones department store going into voluntary administration is a disaster for Australia’s retail sector, on top of the nearly 48,000 small businesses that have become insolvent under Labor. Spoke with Kieran Gilbert on News24 about this and the US mid-term elections.

More pain for families as interest rates rise again, hitting an 18-year high. This is the sixth rate rise this year. The average mortgage holder is now paying $33,000 more a year than what they were prior to Labor taking office. This is unacceptable.

The NSW Labor Government has just announced funding for sporting upgrades to 4 centres as compensation for Federal water buybacks – despite the fact the 4 centres are NOT affected by water buybacks. Good luck to those receiving the $, but irrigation communities miss out again!

Spoke to News24’s Kieran Gilbert. Discussed many topics including today’s troubling inflation numbers. Australians are paying through the nose for everything, from the high cost of fuel, groceries, energy bills, and building a new home.

Wednesday 11 November is Remembrance Day, one of our most important national days, as well as a school day. Students should be in class, learning about the importance of service and sacrifice by those who have defended our country, not protesting in the streets. Lest We Forget.

Australia does not need protests similar to those disgracefully occurring in Europe at present & certainly not on 11 November – Remembrance Day. Students & teachers should stay at school, not insult our Veterans & our fallen who gave so much service & sacrifice for the nation.
