During last week’s 35-31 win over Poland Seminary, Girard junior QB AJ Pearson surpassed 100 career TD’s—54 passing & 49 rushing.
For comparison’s sake, that was Pearson’s 25th career game. Last year’s Mr. Football Runner-Up, Shelby’s Brayden DeVito, had 77 total TD’s (54/23) through his first 25 career games.
Depending on how deep they can make it in the playoffs the next two years, Pearson has a shot at becoming the first to ever throw and rush for 100 TD’s each.
