🔵❤️| Nico to Barcelona! Nico Paz is 22. Dani Olmo is 28. Same profile: attacking midfielders who create, carry, and arrive in the box. Born 8 Sept 2004 vs 7 May 1998. Olmo is 6 years and 4 months older. Project the next two seasons: • End of 2026/27: Paz turns 23, Olmo turns 29 • End of 2027/28: Paz turns 24, Olmo turns 30 By the time Paz is entering the years most creative midfielders peak (24–27), Olmo is already at 30. A Barcelona move for Paz wouldn’t be “replacing Olmo tomorrow.” It would be signing the younger version of the same role while the current one ages out of his prime window.

So this is how Manchester United and Real Madrid fans feel every time they lose a match? 😭 Tell me why I’m having a sleepless night over ordinary PSG. If this is what one defeat does to me, then United fans must be suffering heartbreak every three days! Hansi Flick, don’t hurt my feelings again. I’m not emotionally prepared for this! 😭💔

You wanted to REST RODRI in a match like this? For what exactly? Are we prioritising La Liga over beating PSG, a team that has won the Champions League twice in three seasons? Is the league really the bigger ambition? Martín played through discomfort, but Rodri is the one being rested? I understand rotation, but ROTATION MUST ALSO MAKE SENSE. We cannot keep talking about being Europe’s best while treating these massive European tests like secondary priorities. No excuses on Sunday. We MUST show up against Madrid.

OUR PROBLEM IS BIGGER TEAMS. Madrid is not even our concern anymore. When are we going to start beating teams like PSG? What are we not getting right?

Are you surprised Balde is missing? I’m not surprised at all! If Balde ends up not playing today, it will only raise more questions about his relationship with Flick. One thing worth watching is Flick’s handling of players who seem to fall out of favour. Reduced minutes, fewer opportunities, and eventually a player starts looking for the exit. Is Balde genuinely out of favour, or is Flick simply demanding more from him? Whatever the case, his situation deserves attention. A player cannot regain confidence or prove his worth if he barely gets the opportunity to play.

🔵❤️| XAVI TOOK THE RISK WITH CUBARSÍ. WILL FLICK DO THE SAME WITH ÁLEX CAMPOS? I would rather see Álex Campos thrown into the deep end than watch us talk about trusting La Masia without actually doing it. Remember Pau Cubarsí? Someone had to take that risk, and look at him today. Young players don't gain experience by sitting on the bench. They gain it by playing, making mistakes, facing pressure and learning from it. You cannot demand that La Masia produces first-team players while being afraid to give them first-team opportunities. Yes, Álex Campos might struggle. That's part of the risk. But what if he surprises everyone? Hansi Flick needs to be brave enough to find out.

🔵❤️| LA MASIA HAS ANOTHER MIDFIELD TALENT TO WATCH! 🇪🇸 Pedro Rodríguez Iglesias, 18, is one name Culers should keep an eye on. In Barça’s 1-1 draw against PSG U19 in the UEFA Youth League, Pedro stepped up to score the equaliser from the penalty spot. But what makes him interesting is not just his ability to score goals. He can play as a No. 6 or No. 8, help control the game, break opposition lines with his passing and make intelligent runs into the box. That’s what I like about midfielders like Pedro. They don't just pass the ball around; they understand when to slow the game down, when to move it forward and when to join the attack. He still has a lot to prove before we start talking about the first team, but his development is definitely worth following. Culers, have you been watching Pedro?

🔵❤️| DON’T RISK GERARD MARTÍN! If Gerard Martín is not 100% fit, please don’t rush him back. Keep him fresh for El Clásico. A player at 70% fitness may not give you the same defensive security, mobility or decision-making as a fully fit player. Rushing him back could make the problem worse. If the medical team says he is ready, fine. But if there is still discomfort, don’t gamble with his fitness. We need Gerard Martín healthy for Real Madrid. El Clásico is too important to risk a key defender unnecessarily. He made 51 appearances last season and reached 100 Barcelona appearances this October. Protect the player. Protect the season. Don’t risk it.

Let’s be honest. These are the kind of matches that define a season. PSG will test Barcelona in Europe. Real Madrid will test them in El Clásico. If Barça can overcome both challenges, maintain their intensity, control the midfield, and show defensive discipline, then we might be looking at a team capable of going all the way. Beat PSG. Beat Madrid. Send a message to Europe. I’m not saying the Champions League is already theirs, but if Barça pass these two tests, I dare anyone to tell me they aren’t serious contenders for the trophy.
