Friends met, protests were made, love was found and much fun was had by so many at #ManchesterPride. It even inspired the setting for my latest novel, ONE LOVE. I’m taking some comfort that on the page at least Manchester Pride will live on ❤️🏳️🌈🐝

What a joy to find my book for sale in a small town in South Africa! When I was growing up in working-class Bolton, I couldn’t imagine being a writer because I never saw any from my background. I certainly never imagined I’d visit S Africa and had never heard of Plettenberg Bay!
