It’s better to read with your kids, than to read to your kids.
Say what?
I explain in my latest IG reel:

In advance of this year's @ncte convention I thought I'd share this again! So proud of #AUniverseOfRainbows and the team that put this together, including illustrator Jamey Christoph & my @ebyrbooks family.

All the folks celebrating that we’re having a live, televised execution while at the same time trying to ban books like #Naruto and #OnePiece because they want to protect our children 😕

Is it the #autism?
Something weird has been happening lately when I go to the grocery store - and I’m not sure if it’s just me getting riled up because of who I am, or if it’s something that you have experienced, as well.

We're so proud to publish your award-winning book, @MattForrestVW!
I traditionally-published my first anthology, "A Universe of Rainbows," with @ebyrbooks in April 2025. It was quite a different process researching subjects, collecting poems, and arranging them to create a structure to the whole, but it was a lot of fun. tinyurl.com/4fpr494r

After 14 years, 102,000 visitors, and 770+ posts, it's time to wrap things up at the ol' blog. I think.

Normally, each year at my blog, I relate some of the things I noticed during my time as PA announcer at our local state fair. (This was my 16th year!)
But this year, one thing in particular stuck out at me more than anything else. I share it at the link.
