I took the exact same position on
@VestExchange that I did on CME futures and I got wicked out on vest and I'm still in on futures.
I then risked $235 on my 2nd trade and it took me out for $250, causing it to hit my DLL.
I made sure my risk in my 2nd trade wasn't enough for my DLL to be hit.
Guess what? They slipped me right into my DLL, literally $1 above, when I left a good amount of room.
This shows you the reality of perpetuals. The rules are amazing. The accounts are amazing.
BUT, the edge is NOT the same. The chart is NOT the same. There is INSANE slippage.
So the way you trade NQ won't transfer to their platform. If you risk $500 for example, leave minimum $50-$100 as slippage.
I still love Vest but this is an honest take that I feel people don't speak about.
