Bare Knuckle II (Streets of Rage 2) in the actual streets of Tokyo. I’ve been building an engine to reconstruct games and re-render them in new ways. One of them is spatial rendering. This runs standalone on Meta Quest 3 with a PS5 gamepad.

The plan today: boot up the Commodore Ultimate for some classic retro gaming, then kick back and start dive-reading The Lord of the Rings. Hope everyone has a fantastic day! 🕹️📚✨#RetroGaming #Commodore #C64 #CommodoreUltimate #RetroComputing #LordOfTheRings #Tolkien #DayOff #BookTime

Writing retro game audio has been a lifelong passion of mine ever since the golden era of microcomputing. Getting back to those pure, nostalgic synth sounds and crafting authentic 8-bit tracks brings me so much joy. I’m now expanding into creating full custom soundtracks, background scores, and sound effects for indie games, videos, and creative media projects. 📩 Open for soundtrack commissions and scoring collaborations! #chiptune #vgm #gamedev #indiedev #8bit #retrogaming #soundtrack

Few games tested friendships quite like Micro Machines on the Amiga. 🏎️💥 Doodling around breakfast tables, dodging spilled milk, bouncing off pool table cushions, and firing tank shells across a workbench—pure 90s multiplayer perfection from Codemasters. Nothing was more satisfying than pushing your opponent off the edge of the screen just to snag that last point!

My latest song, thought I would experiment with a bit of #Chiptune. Original song I wrote and remastered into a style I love!

5 years without Sir Clive Sinclair. He democratised home computing, kickstarted the modern games industry, and inspired an entire generation of coders, creators, and tinkerers. 10 PRINT "THANK YOU CLIVE" 20 GOTO 10 #ZXSpectrum #RetroGaming #Microcomputing #Sinclair

Not my usual 8Bit related posts, but thought I'd share my rediscovery into an old hobbies of mine. This track I wrote 15 years ago and recently brought back to life. open.spotify.com/track/4QhJt…

The Forbidden Penguin: On the Dragon 32 version of Manic Miner, you could access the cheat mode by typing P-P-P-ENGUIN. Why a penguin? It was a nod to the biscuits Matthew Smith was snacking on during those late-night sessions. 🐧🍪 #Dragon32 #retro #ManicMiner #MathewSmith

The 37-Year Secret: In 1984, the band Prodigal hid a Commodore 64 program in the run-out groove of their vinyl record Electric Eye. It sounded like random noise, but if you recorded it to tape and loaded it, it revealed a hidden message. It wasn't officially "found" until 2019! 🎶📟 piped.video/6_CZpFqvDQo?si=HBDW… #C64U #C64 #Commodore #retro #gaming #facts

Did You Know? The Kettle That Crashed a Classic ☕️🎮 If you think modern game dev is stressful, spare a thought for Matthew Smith while he was coding the legendary Manic Miner (1983) for the ZX Spectrum. Because the Spectrum was so sensitive to power fluctuations, the game would actually crash every time his family turned on the kettle to make a cup of tea. To save his progress and keep the code intact, Smith ended up doing most of his programming in the dead of night while everyone else was asleep! 🌙 #manicminer #zxspectrum #retro #facts
