@beamprivacy is unique in that it is a private-by-default blockchain with smart contracts. That makes sending and receiving $dVPN a privacy coin as sender, recipient, and amount are all hidden.
Will this be the new asset used by decentralized VPNs? Only time will tell.
We never had intentions on launching a token, but we just couldnt restrain ourselves with the ongoing silly trademarks in a permissionless finance world.
The owners, us, hold 500,000 $dVPN. An emission schedule for the remaining 47M will be devised and most likely will be an asset whose emission is controlled by smart contracts and is backed by $BEAM if we can progess that far. Right now 1M $dVPN is backed by 2000 $BEAM.
We will look into ways of providing transparency of this asset in the near future. For now, users can verify mints in the Beam Asset dapp within the desktop wallet.
Permissionless and privacy are key ingredients to a sovereign individual and no one will take that away from us!

Our website, mathnodes.com was down briefly due to an unjustified legal claim by CEO of @norselabs and @SentinelP2P
@alexlitreev sent a legal threat to our hosting provider due to the purchase and subsequent use of the domain dvpn.app . His claim was that it is trademarked and presents a scam image of his poorly named app DVPN.
This is legally and morally unjustified for numerous reasons:
1. "DVPN" is not trademarked in any jurisdiction in the world and never will be. Its like trying to trademark "VPN". His reference is to a pending trademark application for "$DVPN" which we are filing an appeal of because it is commom use for financial applications by individuals like here on X and Cash App and various others. We expect his pending trademark to be rejected.
2. He quotes the redirect of dvpn.app of posing a "scamy" link for is unimaginative app DVPN. We laugh, because Meile is the oldest active app on Sentinel.
3. He never reach out to us personally and instead tried to sideline our dvpn.app domain through our VPS provider. We have worked with Aleksandr going on 6 years now and did not receive a single message about the matter at hand.
Is this the type of person you want to associate with?
We think not.

Apparently @PrivacyHQ is requiring biometric verification like a lot of the fintech apps these days. Possibly locking you out of your account until you complete it?
