The Spy's United Front Network Wanying 'Heather' Zhang, who is alleged to be a CCP spy for surveilling the US-based son of the Taiwanese President, is a member of All American Chinese Association (AACA). The AACA is identified as a 'united front' org in one investigation and has extensive ties to CCP intelligence and narrative messaging. AACA President Cai 'Edward' Chenghua works with an ostensible 'Who's who" of CCP intel orgs, is directly tied to a Chinese principal that is a PRC registered agent under FARA, and has extensive operations with united front activities and PRC consulates inside the US. The CCP's united front, which spans at least 1,000 orgs across the U.S., operates like a network for spies and influence operatives to drop in, network across, and leverage for trouble-making. The U.S. needs to be overwhelming response to this political warfare that includes sanctions, charges, deportations, and registration of any remaining agents. 🧵👇
A California realtor, Wanying “Heather” Zhang, is accused of working at the direction of Chinese intelligence to surveil Ting-Yu Lai, the U.S.-based son of Taiwanese President Lai Ching-te, collecting photos, videos and license plate information on U.S. soil.

At least three Chinese firms are cutting ties with French soccer star Kylian Mbappé, after he made some comments apparently referring to Mao Zedong, the founding leader of Communist China, as a dictator. Read more: abcnews.link/jV172NL

Mao Zedong was a Chinese communist dictator. His rule caused the death of 50 million Chinese. Kylian Mbappé should never apologize for stating facts. The CCP wants to whitewash Mao’s murderous legacy, but their propaganda machine cannot rewrite history. reuters.com/business/media-t…

Please take a little time to read former Canadian diplomat Michael Kovrig's account of torture in Chinese prison. His case, like so many others, underscores the chasm separating rule-of-law and Party-State penal systems. This is the true face of the CCP.
China's secret police have detained you. You are hooded or blindfolded, handcuffed, abducted to a secret location, locked in a padded cell, and threatened with severe punishment for "harming China". My cover story in @thewirechina: thewirechina.com/2026/10/25/… 1/7

A Chinese state-backed firm looks to build mining operations in the Canadian Arctic that will function as dual-use infrastructure to spy on NORAD’s Arctic operations. Rather than eliminate the threat, the Canadian gov't is considering building a road for the ChiComm mine.
A Chinese-owned mine in Canada's far north is too remote to use. But plans to build a new road connecting the mine to a shipping port are proving controversial. @peiyue_jess reports on Canada's Arctic security balancing act: buff.ly/PcKRKTj

50 million Chinese unavailable for comment.
To us Chinese, Mao Zedong is our hero. Mao uplifted farmers and the working class in China, united the Chinese people, led us to defeat foreign invaders, and founded an independent country so we could all live with dignity. Mao supported the heroic struggle of the African people against imperialism and colonialism. He was one of the greatest leaders in world history, and one of the most demonized by the West.

In Sept 2021, no less than George Soros called out US firms for the huge blunder of deepening their financial entanglement with Communist China. Soros alleged a quid-pro-quo: US firms gained access to China's closed financial markets in exchange for promoting Chinese stocks.
It won’t be much longer. Americans should be furious and demanding answers. Chinese stocks are buried in Americans’ 401(k)s, including many Vanguard funds. Most investors have no idea how much exposure they have to China or the risks involved. When China’s debt crisis comes to a head, how many of these companies, built with foreign capital and sustained by state subsidies, will survive? And why are we exposing Americans’ retirement savings to that risk in the first place?

ChiComm bots misfire! Yesterday I posted an article about risks of Chinese AI, featuring @RyanFedasiuk & @JamesCz19. In the middle of the night, bots rushed the replies complaining about @adrianzenz & @VoCommunism...who are not in the article. ChiComms, come get your bots!
There is no such thing as safe, privacy-protected CCP-tied technology. China’s laws forbid it. Chinese AI models like Zhipu put Americans’ data at risk of exfiltration and intelligence collection. US companies must reject Chinese AI infiltration. dailycaller.com/2026/10/24/r…

It finally happened: researchers found a live backdoor in a popular Chinese base model. Here is what I had to say last month on @ASPI_org’a podcast about the risks of building on an untrusted base:
While evaluating Qwen3.8-Flash-Next in a controlled sandbox environment, Cohere's research team observed something unexpected. Asked to generate a defensive cybersecurity detection rule, the model instead inventoried aspects of the machine it was running on and attempted to upload a probe file to an Alibaba Cloud storage bucket in Beijing. Notably, the model's reasoning trace stated that it would not invoke any tools before taking these actions. Cohere's sandbox blocked the attempt, and no external communication succeeded. We have not determined the root cause, and we are not asserting malicious intent. But the incident raises important questions for organizations deploying agentic AI systems: Can models take actions that differ from their stated reasoning, and how should security teams evaluate trust, provenance, and behavior in open-weight models? We are publishing our findings because organizations making model adoption decisions deserve as much information as possible. We hope this contributes to greater transparency, stronger security practices, and continued collaboration across the AI ecosystem. Read the full report: cohere.com/blog/concerning-b…

Canada PM @MarkJCarney’s leadership produces RESULTS. Carney declared a state of war with the U.S., a new strategic partnership with Communist China and an aspiration for Canada to be recognized as an official EU fangirl. The results: job layoffs and economic contraction.

Confucius Institutes are vehicles of communist influence and CCP espionage efforts. CIs are a part of Communist China's "united front," Marxist-style political warfare upon America. @secwar is right: we must eliminate this national security threat from American universities.
Confucius Institutes are a staging ground for Chinese infiltration of American education. @SecWar is absolutely right to designate these hotbeds of CCP activity as national security threats. We cannot allow Beijing’s propaganda to infect our universities.

The Confucius Institutes are part of a political apparatus the CCP uses to "break and shatter the enemy." Keeping the pressure on the united front system's efforts to evade U.S. countermeasures is an unequivocal good. But why leave it there? Many other similar organizations exist, but we (and our allies & partners) largely ignore them.
The War Department has designated Confucius Institutes as a threat to our national security.

Chinese AI doesn’t belong in American classrooms either. When we asked DeepSeek whether the U.S. or China treats protestors better, it said an objective comparison was “not possible.”
🚨 JUST IN: SecWar Hegseth announces the Pentagon designated CCP-linked Confucius Institutes as NATIONAL SECURITY THREATS and has now officially WIPED OUT 80 disguised Chinese propaganda cells hiding inside 30 American universities BIG WIN! 🇺🇸 "These Chinese government-backed propaganda cultural programs had infiltrated our nation's universities in almost every state... they came back disguised in new forms, just like DEI does." "80 new propaganda cells across 30 universities had popped up using different names and different charters, but with the same mission: to steal intellectual property and to infiltrate the minds of American students." Now the War Department has labeled them a national security threat and dismantled every one in the last two months. "No more, and never again." BOOM.
