lol "If you dont like Hood warfare 2, you shouldn't like GTA" is such a apples to oranges comparison.
GTA games are a commentary on a criminal fantasy that engulfs American culture, shown from many different viewpoints: Black, white, Hispanic etc. They have nuance, and tackle multiple topics about crime, consequences of crime, and characterization from multiple angles.
Hood warfare 2 is just slop about black gang violence with no lessen, no commentary, no nuance.
This is not about activism. People think the game is weird, which is perfectly fine. It's a product that people can like or dislike.
This is EXACTLY why I said what I said!
Most of the people who jumped in didnāt even try to engage with the point. They went straight to the personal attacks:
- coon,
- Sambo,
-talking about my haircut/appearance
- āshuckin and jivin,ā
the same tired insults with NO substance!
The point remains: These people are performative and it shows.
Theyāll give Rockstar and Activision their money and data for GTA and CoD (and other games) without thinking twice.
But they wonāt say a word to actual gang members (because theyāre scared of getting beat up or shot).
But a $6 Call of Duty clone is where they suddenly decide to grow a backbone and start clutching their pearls!
And like I said prior: most of them suck at video games anyway!
Thank you for proving my point!
