I-5 OPEN… after nearly 4 weeks of being closed for construction, I-5 south has reopened to traffic through downtown #Portland this morning. SIGNAGE… @OregonDOT reader boards have been giving wrong info all morning, saying I-5 was closed and to take I-405. But it was actually the opposite this morning. I-5 was OPEN and I-405 was closed. These reader boards are supposed to give real time traffic, but were more confusing than anything #LiveOnK2 #Portland

WHOA… witnessed a hit-n-run on Tuesday morning while doing traffic reports on @KATUNews. Pickup merged onto I-205 south in #VanWa driving erratically. I was on hold with 911 when he swerved into the trailer of a semi. I was able to provide info to 911 before the driver sped off. No word on the outcome. LEGEND… spent my whole life listening to Mariners games with Rick and Dave Niehaus. During those long drives in the 90’s when I lived in Alaska - to my dog walks during this season. Rick has a way of making you feel like you’re at the game. Holy smokes he was there for the biggest moments. Really gonna miss him in the booth, amazing tributes to him, and this video. LOOK… at these guys endeering themselves to the locals near OHSU in #Portland this morning. With the economy so bad, maybe they herd there was some doe down here. I was stag-gered that they didn’t go buck wild and hoof it outta there when they saw me. I was sort of fawn-girling over them. Animals of this elk can be dangerous, but this group was deerlightful. Kinda weird seeing them here, like I was in an antler-nate reality.
