You probably don’t need another business idea. You need to pick one problem, one person, and one thing you can sell them. Your first business doesn’t need to be brilliant. It needs to get out of your head and in front of an actual customer.

You don’t need a fancy website to start making money online. You need something to sell, somewhere you own to send people, and a way to stay in touch with them.

If AI only helps you write faster, you’re probably missing most of the work it could be helping you with.

But please build a super basic website that YOU own. It does not need to be fancy. Start your email list today. Not next month. Not when you have more followers. Start collecting emails now. Stop sending everybody to Linktree. It’s shit for most businesses. You’re sending people to a page with 7, 8, 10 different choices and hoping they pick the right one. They WON'T. Direct people to one or two things you actually want them to do. Like a FREEBIE (to get them on your email list for future marketing) an Entry level DIGITAL PRODUCT (something that solves ONE PROBLEM for a low cost - make it feel worth 10X the value). Pick two main platforms to focus on. One should help new people discover you (like YouTube or TikTok/IG). One should help you build a relationship with the people already paying attention (like THREADS or X). And I don’t care if you “don’t like Facebook,” YouTube, SEO, or whatever else. You need SOME way for people who don’t already know you to find you. Get better at promoting yourself & your talents. I know it feels awkward. But someone with 1/4 of your skill is promoting themselves harder & getting the client. Learn to talk about what you’re good at. Figure out video. You don’t need to become an influencer or build a studio. Video matters. Find a version you can actually keep doing. There's Music Over B-Roll, AI Twins, etc Outsource the shit you keep avoiding. If it’s been sitting on your list for months because you hate doing it, get help. Always pay yourself. Money coming into the business isn’t enough. You need to be able to take money out too. You don’t need fancy tools to make money. A basic stripe or paypal checkout page are fine. Make money first. Then refine the branding, software, website, and systems. Start simple. Make money.
