Wow the natives are up in arms today, another day another made up catastrophe. Adrenal glands gave up to the cynical gland a long time ago

The Blues Brothers, humor, music and good times. My wife and I watched it again tonight, reminded me how good it is.

Went to get some burritos for lunch today, noticed the synagogue across the street was full. I was disheartened to see that these poor folks are scared to worship in peace.

We owe everything we have to a 66 million year old asteroid impact. Without that it’s highly unlikely that we ever would have evolved. Monsters would still rule the planet

I hate the summer before an election, all the roads are tore up as politicians try to make it seem like they’re getting shit done. All the stuff that should have been done during the previous 2 years

We are barely surviving the great zucchini invasion of 2026, fairly sure this plant should be taken to Mars.

As a long time WSJ subscriber today’s front page was puzzlingly bad. We just had a 250yr celebration, it was buried with crappy photos, supported by a whiny article about FAA complaints on a vintage jet - WTAF?

I’ve been wanting to participate with SpaceX through owning a piece ever since I found out about the company. Although late, after success has already been demonstrated, I’ll still be a buyer.

Old school television commercials are an abomination, we’ve been forced to watch them during a vacation. Had forgotten how horribly idiotic, belittling and demeaning they are.

Many movies are forgettable to abysmal but we just watched a very clever movie entitled Destination Wedding. Perhaps the PR department got a hold of it and made it a wedding movie, it’s a lot more than that. The dialog is the star, well done!

The most recent discussion between Lex Fridman and Irving Finkel was fantastic and makes me want to visit some important museums, particularly what may be the prime.

The irony of the west turning it’s back on religion, only to spend untold trillions to create a super AI daddy in the sky is rich.

There’s a nasty summertime illness running around the central coast of California, don’t know if it’s a cold, COVID, or something else, but my wife is pretty darn sick.

Prepping an oil pan from a 1966 F100 for paint, as much metal as the door from my 22 Ram, got me thinking about Ohio, they built everything, launched my family, from farmers to college grads, then the was state left for dead. Potential is there, we need to refocus

Permitting agencies many times rely on permit fees for their budget, this sets up bad incentives. These groups should be service focused not revenue focused, fix that and everything speeds up. With the money DOGE saves elsewhere, fund these agencies, their staff will shrink.
