Strongly agree.
Anyone blaming Harris or Walz today has utterly lost the plot & missed the point. This is fundamentally about America, toxic masculinity, & white supremacy. Blaming Harris would be part of that problem, not the solution. She deserves our thanks. Thank you, @vp @KamalaHarris

I underestimated - again - how the majority of men really, really don’t like women, and how much some women hate other women, and ultimately themselves.
I am so deeply sorry. I thought better of us.

Yep. Also, Tim Walz is the dad you wish you’d had so it would never occur to you go anywhere near, let alone tolerate a weird loser like JD Vance

This actually brought a tear to my eye. The applause for Giselle Pelicot outside the courtroom She is incredible

Hard agree.
Feminism isn't women's moral obligation. It is a response to men failing in theirs. I am so sick of men telling feminists they're not doing enough about x or y (usually because they haven't noticed what feminists *are* doing)

No, not 💯 Elon. In the U.K. they’re not going round ‘finding people who’ve said something they disagree with and putting them in a f—king cage.’ Some people are being charged for inciting racial hatred and for organising acts of violence. It’s very specific, and it’s the law in most democracies including the US. For example, one person has pleaded guilty today to inciting an attack on a hotel housing asylum seekers: an attack which then took place. Another hotel was set on fire, with people still inside. Freedom carries responsibility: and freedom of speech carries with it the responsibility of each of us to use our words wisely and to be aware of the damage misinformation can cause. To be clear, criminal violence directed towards various communities in the U.K. was perpetrated as a result of malicious and specifically targeted misinformation online. And it’s a relief no-one was killed. Words matter. And yet here you are, running a huge information network, and all you can do is post 💯 over something you choose not to verify for accuracy, not alert people to it’s highly damaging nature. In fact, because of who you are, your 💯 gives it a stamp of approval in the eyes of those who seek validation for their actions. What we say and do has real consequences. That’s because we’re not in a matrix, we’re in real life, and sticking 💯 on a lie doesn’t turn it into truth.

American twitter, a message from a friend in the U.K.: yesterday we voted ourselves in a government of competent professionals, with a strong moral compass, after 14 years of over privileged, performative grifters. It’s much better already. Best of luck.
With fear for our Democracy, I dissent.

So, yet again, this is how WW3 starts: the hubris of old white men… for the love of whatever gods there may be, step aside. You’ve done a good job, thank you, but it’s time to go.
Folks, I might not walk as easily or talk as smoothly as I used to. I might not debate as well as I used to. But what I do know is how to tell the truth.
