This is par the course for the Mayor's office but anti democratic and sad. the NAC plan fails to invest in the community and the project is getting half a billion in public investment
Despite some public pushback, Detroit Mayor Mary Sheffield and the city of Detroit on social media are promoting GM/Bedrock’s Renaissance Center redevelopment, which includes public tax breaks, prior to City Council’s vote on whether to approve the plan.

Couple in Ferndale, making and selling pizza out of their garage since February, recently received a cease & desist letter from the city. Maybe they can open their own kitchen someday like another home grown pizza place did, Amelia Street Pizza in Hazel Park.
