Getting married and/or having children as a male professional athlete is one of the dumbest things you could do in my opinion, unless it’s with a woman who knew you before all the money & fame. LeBron/Savannah, Steph/Ayesha type situation. Meeting someone after you’ve already become wealthy & famous, marrying or procreating with them at the peak of your financial career, then expecting them to have genuine motives, be loyal & always have your best interest is damn near idiotic. That’s why I think KD is one of the smartest athletes. Ppl make fun of him for being single & childless approaching 40, but the best time for him to meet someone will honestly be when he’s no longer at the peak of his fame, status, attention & earnings. A man who finds love before he has everything knows what she fell in love with. A man who finds it after can never be completely sure.
