Every AI company in the last 3 years made the same deal with you. You give us your data. We get smarter. You get a slightly better autocomplete. Nobody asked if that was fair. We did. 🧵(Thread 👇🏾)

Yeah the victory is waiting; like Jimmy Cliff said, " I can see it clearly now"🏆🙏🏾

I like the attention, but I love my solitude.

The Earth looks better from a distance where you can't see the people
That's us! 🌍 The Artemis II crew captured beautiful, high-resolution images of our home planet during their journey to the Moon. As @Astro_Christina put it: "You guys look great."

A very interesting read imo. This took me back to when I saw some prod code from a senior with the comment DON'T TOUCH THIS in caps. The removal of that code might lead you to unplanned sleepless nights. It's like the disclaimer f*ck around and find out😂 hyrumslaw.com/

writing c++ isn’t some sort of refined activity like playing chess it’s more like wrestling a pig in the mud

Python is amazing until you get into robotics and realize everything important is written in C++.

We from alx SE learnt memory management (hard core malloc, calloc, realloc), and I'm currently coding in C++ at my workplace
This is not a Data Science issue. I remember asking someone who went through Moringa (and learnt C) if they learnt memory management and they told me no. Bootcamps provide you with a paper that says you went through several months & completed a course.

Overconfidence will get you further in life than your skills. The illusion of superiority makes you take bold steps, not constant self criticism. You seem like you know what you’re doing. All the knowledge you hoard in your cave means nothing when the world cares about output.

I have come to appreciate the idea that programming languages are methods to instantiate a general thing that you'd like the language to express. With this insight, I actively practice wishful thinking in software engineering.

Without @alx_africa, I don't know where I would be right now, and I owe much of the success in my journey to them, and the tight deadlines😂. It's a wonderful program, and the most important thing I take everywhere with me that I learned from them is "learning how to learn."
