Someone sent me this pic last night. Great memories of two awesome players to coach! Patrick and Mark worked incredibly hard and were so much fun to coach.

Mike Brown on Mikal Bridges' early shooting struggles: "He had 3 or 4 wide open 3s, and obviously we want him to make half of them if they're open, but he's gotta keep shooting and hopefully they'll go in sooner than later." #Knicks

Jayson Tatum said he would like talk with Jaylen Brown to clear up matters and come to an understanding. "He just turned 30, I'm 28 with two kids. It should be more about winning a championship. This aint no Shaq and Kobe. There is no beef. That's not my thing." #Celtics

The former New York Knick (2019-2021) played 29 games with Austin last year in the G League.
Acquiring a someone's returning rights, does not mean the player will join the active roster.
The Westchester Knicks trade their 2026 second-round pick in the NBA G League Draft (from VAL) to the Austin Spurs in exchange for the returning player rights to Elfrid Payton.

“Tonight you saw a version of like, at his best, that's what he's got to be for us.”
I asked Joe Mazzulla for his assessment of Jordan Walsh’s performance when matched up with Jalen Brunson tonight. The ability to make life difficult for opposing stars is obviously a significant part of his role.
“It's not easy. He’s a guy that can keep his dribble. He can create separation. Multiple moves. I thought Jordan’s start of the second half was important for us. He had the layup in transition. He had the catch-and-shoot 3, and he had some great defensive possessions. Even when he fouled, we need that type of physicality.
“…So, I thought tonight you saw a version of like, at his best, that's what he's got to be for us, and he's gotta continue to get better.”

Brown said there was a stretch where his team was "bitching" to the refs instead of playing through the physicality.
