Now 85, she’s seen plenty of changes over the years — from the days when ticket lines stretched all the way to Hillsborough Street to selling tickets at Gate 10 today. Did you know you can stock up on the latest Wolfpack merchandise at the N.C. State Fair? A pop-up shop is located on the first floor of the new Midway Events Center (food hall) between Dorton Arena and the main midway.

Looking for a place to sit and eat? We have lots of options! Fair food is famous for being easy to take with you while you walk, but that doesn't mean you have to eat on the go all the time. Here are just a few photos of the food vendors that have seating connected to their booths, including the five vendors in the new Midway Event Center where you'll find lots of seating outside and even more inside! (In addition, many other benches, table/picnic areas are located across the fairgrounds.)

It's @DukeEnergy Military Appreciation Day at the fair! Today, we took time to honor those who have served and those who are serving our nation in the armed forces. The sacrifices made by those who have ever worn a uniform – and the families and friends that support them – do not go unnoticed and are deeply appreciated.
