The #BuffaloTrunkfish gets its name from the large hump on its back, which looks a bit like a buffalo! 🦬
These trunkfish are still showing off their blue juvenile coloration. As they grow, they’ll develop the mottled brown-and-white adult pattern seen in older trunkfish.

Our aerial survey team saw more than 200 humpback whales on a single survey! 🐋🛩️
East of Cape Cod, the Aquarium's #AndersonCabotCenter aerial survey team sighted a total of 222 humpback whales. It’s an exciting sign that whale activity in the region is ramping up!
