I’ve been feeling nostalgic to recreate some versions that I felt got stolen. Technology, art , music have often been that. While the trick worked, the longing is always freedom: to feel, create, exist Here’s a page from the depths 🩻

What an honor it’s been working with the girls. Every session, every 1-on-1, and every question has been an opportunity for me to learn too. I’ve gained an amazing wealth of knowledge along the way, and I hope I’ve helped a few people better understand the ecosystem.
Today marks the final session of Dada Devs Cohort 5, and we’re taking a moment to celebrate our Peer Leads. 🧡 Throughout the cohort, @KalukiTiiime, @Su_Githaiga , @NNakhero , @ELivingproof , @kavengi_lilian , @imm9cul9t3, and @mujojojayar took on the responsibility of supporting their respective learning groups through the technical journey. From working through assignments together and reviewing each other’s solutions to helping peers troubleshoot, think through technical problems, and stay accountable to their projects, they helped make learning a collaborative process. In a technical programme, learning doesn’t happen only during class. It happens when you open a GitHub repository, attempt the problem, get stuck, review someone else’s approach, receive feedback, and try again. Our Peer Leads helped create more of those moments within their groups. Thank you for contributing your time, technical knowledge, and leadership to Cohort 5. We’re proud to have had you lead from within the community. 🧡 Well done, Peer Leads! 🎉 #DadaDevs #BitcoinDevelopment #OpenSource #BuildOnBitcoin

This is still a dream, and seriously, if you do care about your privacy on-chain or even before you publish your transactions, check out Siriscore. I would love to get some feedback 🥰
What if you could know how much your Bitcoin transaction reveals before you broadcast it? Every Bitcoin transaction leaves behind clues. The way coins are selected and spent can reveal patterns that affect a user’s financial privacy—often without them realizing it. That’s the problem @siriscore is solving. SiriScore is a pre-broadcast Bitcoin transaction privacy scorer that helps users understand what their transactions reveal before they sign. By analyzing transaction heuristics, it provides actionable privacy insights that support better coin selection and more informed Bitcoin spending. Built with a local-first approach, SiriScore is available as a web application, Python library, and CLI—keeping privacy at the center of the user experience. Behind the project are four members of the Dada Devs community: @Su_Githaiga, @mujojojayar, @Its_nkathake , and @NNakhero , who are contributing to open-source Bitcoin infrastructure that helps make privacy more accessible for everyone. Whether you’re a developer building Bitcoin wallets, a contributor interested in privacy tools, or simply curious about how Bitcoin transactions work, SiriScore is an open-source project worth exploring. 🌐 Try SiriScore: siriscore.xyz/ This is the kind of infrastructure that strengthens the Bitcoin ecosystem—not by changing the protocol, but by helping people use it more privately and intentionally. And that’s exactly the kind of technology we’re proud to see our community building. #Bitcoin #OpenSource #DadaDevs #BitcoinDada #WomenInBitcoin #BuildOnBitcoin #BitcoinDevelopers

📚 Readers' Friday Book Club Recap: This week, we explored Chapter 7: The Real Cost of Big Blocks from Hijacking Bitcoin by Roger Ver and Steve Patterson (@steveinpursuit), revisiting one of Bitcoin's most influential scaling debates. Key takeaways from today's discussion: 🔸 Scaling is a trade-off. Every design decision affects decentralization, security, and usability. 🔸 Technology evolves. The chapter argues that storage and bandwidth costs continue to decline, making larger blocks more feasible over time. 🔸 Node accessibility matters. A key question remains: who should be able to run a full node, and what level of hardware should that require? 🔸 Ideas shape Bitcoin. The Blocksize Wars weren't just about megabytes, they reflected different visions for Bitcoin's future. 🔸 History still matters. Understanding these debates helps us better evaluate today's discussions around scaling, Lightning, and Bitcoin's long-term evolution. Whether you agreed with every argument or challenged them, the conversation reminded us why reading different perspectives makes us better Bitcoiners. 📖 Missed this session? Join us next Friday as we continue reading, asking better questions, and learning together. See you at the next Readers' Friday Book Club! ⚡🧡

Our community is full of developers who don’t just dream about solving problems. They build solutions. Today, we’re celebrating @aisha_barasa, an alumna of the DadaHub Residency who is also set to participate at the incoming Dada Devs Cohort 5. She was part of the team behind EquiCool—an AI-powered solution addressing urban heat inequality. Her team’s innovative idea earned an Honourable Mention at the @Mayors4Climate (GCOM) AI Hackathon Idea Sprint during the Climate 4 Cities Conference in Nairobi. @aisha_barasa journey is a reminder that great builders never stop learning. From the DadaHub Residency to now taking the next step with Dada Devs, we’re excited to see how she’ll continue to grow, contribute to open source, and build impactful solutions. Congratulations, @aisha_barasa We’re proud to celebrate this milestone with you and can’t wait to see what you build next. Happy #WCW to one of our amazing Dadas. 🚀🧡 Applications for Dada Devs cohort 5 is still ongoing. Reserve your spot here:forms.gle/gM8PHoKeQQsJJVtK8 #DadaDevs #WomenInBitcoin #BuildOnBitcoin

📚Another great edition of Readers' Friday Book Club is in the books! This week, we explored Chapter 5: The Blocksize Limit from Hijacking Bitcoin by Roger Ver and Steve Patterson (@steveinpursuit), unpacking one of the most pivotal debates in Bitcoin's history. 👇 Key takeaways: • The blocksize debate was about much more than transaction capacity, it reflected competing visions for Bitcoin's future. • Decentralization, security, and scalability require careful trade-offs. • The Lightning Network emerged as a scaling solution that preserves Bitcoin's decentralized nature while enabling faster, cheaper payments. • Understanding Bitcoin's history helps us better appreciate the design decisions that continue to shape the protocol today. A huge thank you to everyone who joined the discussion, shared thoughtful perspectives, and asked insightful questions.🧡 See you at the next Readers' Friday Book Club as we continue learning, questioning, and growing together. 🧡
