Jamahl Mosley postgame: "how do we start a game, how do we close a game? You have to go through these things in order to understand your process and how it can work"
"And so for us, we've got to learn how to put 48 minutes together and how we start games"
This is not, like, a brand new team. This is year 6, 7, 8 for many of these players. Some have 5+ years together. If they haven't figured that out by now...
The playbook of what this franchise needed to do this season (last season really) was/is so obvious. Build around Fears and Queen, sell the fans on those two leading to a good team in the future.
Instead, this just feels like a continuation of the past 2 years.
I PROMISE this would have worked. Fans would have bought in. Market those two players. Tell Murphy he's the number 1 guy and can take as many shots as he wants.
This is literally what every other team in the league does
THIS is the type of stuff that turns off fans. They wonder why the following of the Pels pales in comparison to the Saints? Either actually be good and invest in every aspect that takes, or be bad and develop young guys.
The roster stinks. There is no fix to this shit.
Doesn’t matter who the coach is or what the rotations are. It all leads to shit. That is what this team is and what they are content in being.
Just in: Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards will undergo an arthroscopic procedure on his ailing right knee and miss up to two months, sources tell ESPN.
