Stronger skilling ecosystems are built through partnerships that connect institutional capacity with local aspirations and measurable outcomes.
Today, NSDC and the Skill, Employment, Entrepreneurship and Innovation Department (SEEID), Government of Maharashtra, signed and exchanged an MoU to strengthen skill development in the state.
The ceremony was attended by Shri Mangal Prabhat Lodha, Hon’ble Minister for Skills, Government of Maharashtra; Smt. Manisha Verma, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary, Skill Development Department; Shri Amit Saini, IAS, CEO, MSSDS; and Shri Arunkumar Pillai, CEO, NSDC, alongside senior state officials and NSDC teams.
The collaboration will focus on establishing a Kaushal Samiksha Kendra and SIIC in Mumbai, advancing Skill Impact Bond and outcome-based programmes, supporting the establishment of MAHIMA through NSDC International, and taking forward other key NSDC skilling initiatives in Maharashtra.
By bringing together state leadership, NSDC’s expertise and international pathways, this partnership aims to translate skilling investments into meaningful opportunities for Maharashtra’s youth.
