Unfortunately for all of us, the NYGOP has no interest in trying to win. The party is one big grift machine. Their friends get paid, new talent gets shut out, and the old guard does nothing to expand the party. The @NYYRC is doing everything we can to support Republicans with very little institutional support.

The NYGOP has given up. Most of us in NYC don’t even have a Republican to vote for. They’ve totally abdicated their responsibility to our city and to posterity in order to line their pockets. They’re making deals with Democrats behind closed doors for a chance to pick at whatever scraps they throw at us, horse trading for judge candidates or putting up duds for the few legitimately viable seats that exist.
