PEBEC Engages NAFDAC on Regulatory Activities and Business Environment Yesterday, Princess Zahrah Mustapha Audu, Director-General of the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (@PEBECgovng), paid a working visit to NAFDAC's Director-General, Prof. Mojisola Adeyeye, at the Agency’s Corporate Headquarters in Abuja. The engagement focused on recent public concerns about the Agency, NAFDAC’s achievements across key regulatory areas, and challenges affecting its operations. Discussions covered food safety, product registration and regulation, MSME support, pesticides and agrochemicals, post-marketing surveillance, investigation & enforcement, and import and export trade facilitation. Particular attention was given to issues concerning Free Trade Zones and the auctioning of containers delayed at the ports, with discussions highlighting the importance of addressing regulatory bottlenecks and facilitating an improved business environment.
