The refereeing Liverpool have been subjected to, particularly at Anfield, is genuinely staggering. And I’m tired of legitimate criticism being dismissed as “sour grapes” before anyone even bothers to look at the evidence. Paul Tomkins has researched this extensively, going back decades and some of his findings are genuinely ridiculous. Consider these stats from his April 2026 study: • ZERO opposition players have received a foul-related DOGSO red card at Anfield since 2009. That’s 325 home league games without an opponent being sent off for denying an obvious goalscoring opportunity through a foul. • 3 Liverpool players received DOGSO red cards at Anfield in just 28 games under Slot. More than opposition players received at Anfield in the previous 25 years combined. • Liverpool haven’t received a penalty in the opening 15 minutes of a league match with fans present since December 2012. Man City received 14 (!!) in that same period. • Liverpool went 305 consecutive league matches between 2015 & 2023 without an opposition player receiving a 2nd yellow. That’s 8 years. Home or away. • Since VAR was introduced, Liverpool have received just 2 VAR-awarded penalties for fouls. Man City received 11. Liverpool have also had 7 awarded against them. • Liverpool received ZERO subjective VAR overturns in their favour before the 28th minute across approximately 260 matches. Man United received 7, Arsenal 6 & Man City 6. • Salah averaged just 0.83 fouls won per 90 minutes, ranking outside the top 2,000 players in Tomkins’ study. Anyone who watched Salah knows how ridiculous that is given how frequently he’s grabbed, pulled & manhandled. • Liverpool’s average foul free-kicks won dropped from around 12-13 per game before Klopp to just 9 after his arrival. Only Sheffield United recorded fewer in Tomkins’ comparison. • Only 51% of Liverpool’s penalties were awarded at Anfield, compared to approximately 63% at home across the league. Some home advantage, eh? And perhaps the most damning stat of all: Of the 56 highly contentious league incidents Tomkins identified against Liverpool in the VAR era, 53 (95%) happened when the match was level or separated by just 1 goal. These are game-changing decisions. Penalties, red cards & incidents that can genuinely decide matches, title races & entire seasons. Think about Tarkowski’s challenge on Mac Allister, Ødegaard practically playing basketball at Anfield, Senesi’s handball or Salah getting manhandled every other week without a whistle. Oh, and literally disallowing a completely valid goal at Tottenham (no, YOU let it go). At what point do we stop pretending this is normal? And what frustrates me most is how quickly people dismiss the conversation as “sour grapes.” As if being a Liverpool supporter somehow invalidates the evidence. You can be biased & still be absolutely right. I’m not suggesting these stats automatically prove some grand conspiracy, but the disparities are extraordinary. And when you actually watch the incidents themselves, it’s difficult to understand how some of these decisions are even possible. We’re talking about penalties & red cards. Literally the most consequential decisions a referee can make. And somehow Liverpool consistently find themselves on the wrong end of them, even at Anfield - especially at Anfield - where we’re supposedly benefiting from this enormous home advantage. Why shouldn’t that be questioned? Credit to Paul Tomkins for actually doing the research & documenting this over the years. Full analysis: tomkinstimes.substack.com/p/… But sure, “sour grapes.” #LFC

🚨Heartbreaking update from the families. A joint statement from the families of Adam Robinson, Helen Sharp, Emma and Charlie Robinson, Rachael Reed, Charmi Fehr and Anita Maria Cetina: “With broken hearts, our families share that Adam Robinson and Helen Sharp, their children Emma and Charlie, Rachael Reed and Charmi Fehr, and Anita Maria Cetina were among those lost aboard the flight that went down near Greenacres, Florida, on November 1. Adam and Helen were devoted parents, and Emma, 4, and Charlie, 2, were the light of their lives. Helen and Adam were the love affair that will last forever. Their warmth, generosity and gift for making people feel welcome touched so many lives. Their loss will be felt deeply by all those who loved them and who they loved in return. Charmi and Rachel were full of joy and adventure. They loved their people fiercely, fully and without hesitation. From the moment they met, they were all in on each other and the life they were building. They are deeply loved, and we will miss them endlessly. Anita Maria cared for Emma and Charlie with tenderness and devotion, and she was truly part of the family. She showed us a legacy of unconditional love and devotion. We are deeply grateful to the first responders, investigators, and the Palm Beach County community for their care, and to everyone who has reached out with love. Our hearts are also with the families of the pilots, who are grieving alongside us. We ask for privacy as we grieve. Details about memorial services will be shared once arrangements are made. With love, The Robinson, Sharp, Reed, Fehr, and Cetina families” Prayers for everyone who lost someone on that flight. 🙏🏼💔

The claim holds for Liverpool: detailed tracking shows zero VAR-awarded foul penalties since April 2022 (only two ever in the VAR era, both early 2022). Other clubs, especially Man City, have received far more via VAR intervention. In the full VAR era overall, Chelsea lead total penalties awarded. Exact "by VAR only" tallies vary by source but consistently show big gaps versus Liverpool.

A man decided to adopt a 16-year-old dog so he wouldn't have to spend his final years alone in a shelter. But what he never expected was that the love and comfort of a new home would bring the senior dog back to life, making him happy and playful again, just like a puppy❤️

She divorced her husband at 9 AM. At 12:30 PM, he bought a lottery ticket that won $40,000,000. In a staged Southern Justice courtroom episode, Diana Taylor sues her ex-husband Mark for half the prize. She tells the judge the ticket was bought with money from their shared account. She also says she gave up her career and spent seven years following Mark as he chased his dreams. Mark brings a receipt showing he bought the ticket after the divorce. Diana says the winning numbers match dates from their relationship. She points to their wedding, their first date and even their dog's birthday. Mark says he didn't choose the numbers. The machine did. He also files a counterclaim for $2,500, which the judge throws out. The judge rules that the winnings belong to Mark because he bought the ticket after the divorce. Diana gets none of the $20 million she requested.

My hot take is that the real villains of the Learjet incident were the passengers who felt entitled to fly to the Bahamas during a severe thunderstorm

My son was uninvited to a fucking student Halloween party today. The person who uninvited him said he was doing it because 5 people had said they wouldn't go if a Zionist was going, so instead of telling them to fucking grow up, he told my son not to come. Where will this end?
