Motorists may soon face new #trafficdiversions in #Lakdikapul as the Hyderabad Traffic Police plan to introduce a #onewaysystem to ease congestion.
@hydcitypolice Commissioner @SajjanarVC_IPS inspected the proposed routes on a motorcycle, covering Ravindra Bharathi, Iqbal Minar, HDFC, Old Saifabad PS and Old Control Room Junction.
Under the proposed plan:
• Vehicles from Old Control Room towards Secunderabad will be diverted via HDFC, Old Saifabad PS, Iqbal Minar and Secretariat Junction.
• Vehicles from Nirankari Junction towards Old Control Room will be routed via Old Saifabad PS, Iqbal Minar and Ravindra Bharathi.
• Vehicles from Secretariat Junction and Telangana Thalli flyover towards Old Saifabad PS will be diverted via Iqbal Minar, Ravindra Bharathi, Old Control Room (U-turn), Assembly Gate No. 3 and HDFC.
The plan will be discussed with @GHMCOnline , @HMWSSBOnline , the electricity department and other agencies before a trial run. Permanent implementation will depend on the trial results.
Separately, #KBRPark 's existing one-way stretch is set to get an additional traffic lane.
Underground pipelines, electricity poles and other utilities obstructing the expansion will be shifted in coordination with the concerned departments.

@TelanganaCOPs to launch ‘#FitCop’, an app-based health monitoring programme covering 90,000+ personnel.
The app will track eight #healthparameters, including #diabetes, #BP, #BMI and #lifestylehabits, and classify personnel into low, moderate and high-risk categories.
High-risk staff will receive call-centre alerts, medical tests, treatment guidance and counselling.
The initiative, backed by Helping Hand Foundation, is expected to roll out in 30-45 days.

@CPFutureCity's Maheshwaram SOT busted an #adulteratedmilk manufacturing unit at #Pocharam in #Ibrahimpatnam mandal of #RangaReddy district and arrested milk trader Ande Srisailam (43).
He allegedly mixed #hydrogenperoxide and #Dholpur #milkpowder to prepare adulterated milk supplied to Hyderabad consumers.
Police seized 100 litres of adulterated milk, one litre of hydrogen peroxide and 35 one-kg packets of Dholpur milk powder.
Investigation is underway to trace the supply network and identify affected consumers.

#Hyderabad:
#Telangana #TransportMinister @Ponnam_INC Prabhakar announced a major reduction in #Metro-#RTC combined travel pass fares as a #Diwali gift to commuters.
Key changes:
🔹 Daily pass: Reduced from ₹400 to ₹275 (₹125 savings).
🔹 Monthly pass: Slashed from ₹8,500 to ₹4,000 (₹4,500 savings).
Daily Pass:
• Metro allocation: ₹200
• RTC allocation: ₹75
• Allows four single journeys per day.
Monthly Pass:
• Metro allocation: ₹3,000
• RTC allocation: ₹1,000
• Allows up to 50 single Metro trips per month.
• Unlimited travel on RTC buses.
The revised fares will come into effect from November 8.
The government aims to reduce commuters' travel expenses and make public transport more affordable and accessible, the transport minister said.
